My Story

Hello, my name is Latasha Martin and I am making a career transition to become a front-end web developer. I developed an interest in web development after learning about CodeAcademy. I completed the HTML course and CSS course that were available at the time and enjoyed it. I discovered a new canvas that I could experiment with. It was the perfect mix of design and coding!

Education

I graduated from the University of the Virgin Islands with a B.A. in English. I continued my education with the Front-End Web Development Certification program at Montgomery College.

Other Interests

When I'm not at my desk, I can be found visiting parks and exploring the trails as well as taking in base. In my free time, I enjoy comic and fantasy genre movies and MMORPGs as well as keeping up on the news in technology.
