My name is Virginia R. Klebau and the following site intends to showcase my skills in JavaScript, JQuery (including the JQuery UI), and Angular all wrapped in the Bootstrap CSS framework. Two similar applications will be built using a backend of ColdFusion 10 and SQL Server Database. At this point you are probably wondering the focus of both applications...they will both be management systems for gathering jobs that recruiters have approached me with through e-mail. The applications will both be personal tools for me but at the same time show 2 different approaches to a CRUD application on the client-side. As I add features, I will list them somewhere on the site kind of like a diary.
This is my first Bootstrap site.
To easily add affix behavior to any element, just add data-spy="affix" to the element you want to spy on. Use offsets to define when to toggle the pinning of an element.
The ScrollSpy plugin is for automatically updating nav targets based on scroll position. Scroll the area below the navbar and watch the active class change. The dropdown sub items will be highlighted as well.
From the "Get Bootstrap Site": You can activate a tab or pill navigation without writing any JavaScript by simply specifying data-toggle="tab" or data-toggle="pill" on an element. Adding the nav and nav-tabs classes to the tab ul will apply the Bootstrap tab styling, while adding the nav and nav-pills classes will apply pill styling.
"Extend the default collapse behavior to create an accordion with the panel component."
